It was a great pleasure going through this book which is very dedicatedly written about hill mynahs by researching on them for almost 3 decades. The book is bible like for all researchers to come. It covers intricate details of the life-cycle of hill mynahs in the wild as well as captivity. All the data collected is documented very meticulously which also dives into the various species of hill mynahs found in northern central and southern part of Thailand. There are various methods of research used to come to conclusions which strengthens authenticity of the book. I deeply admire Dr. Manee Archawaranon dedication to her work and proclivity for these spectacular species. The details covered in this book will be instrumental for conservation of this species in the wild.
